Project Description: NetCompliance conducted a subsurface investigation and directed remediation following a 750 gallon gasoline release from an overturned tanker along a 4-lane highway east of Portland, Oregon. The investigation included several groundwater and soil sampling events, as well as the associated reports. Remediation oversight included supervision of subcontractors during the removal of petroleum product and during the application of hazardous oxygen-release compounds used to treat the petroleum-contaminated soils and groundwater.
NetCompliance served as a liaison between client, Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ), Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), and the private home owners. Much of the investigation and remediation activities were performed on ODOT right-of-way and involved performing such activities per ODOT specifications and ODEQ regulatory guidelines.
